Cow Appreciation Day History, Significance, and Celebration Ideas:

Cow Appreciation Day was started by Chick-Fil-A, a company that also happens to sponsor NASCAR racing. Since cows are considered by many to be the most innocent animals on the face of the earth, the founders of Chick-Fil-A thought that giving customers a chance to purchase a free meal with a cow etched on it would be a fantastic idea. Unfortunately, there were quite a few problems with this plan; the first being that not all stores were selling fried chickens in July, and as a result, the company had a hard time finding gift cards to give away.

After some research, they discovered that there are actually several websites that offer gift cards for various restaurants, including one that serves Chick-Fil-A and a variety of other food-related companies. In addition, they realized that since many people did not receive a gift card from Chick-fil-A in July, there was a very good chance that they would not receive a gift card from any of the other restaurants on the list either.

The next thing that happened was that Chick-Fil-A did not want to miss out on any of the major business days of the year, such as the fourth Monday of August and the first Tuesday of October. Thus, in order to help out their company, they decided to create a contest and offer a free food item to anyone who could answer a trivia question about cows. They entered the contest into several different contests, such as a contest asking for the best answer to the age-old question “what does a cow look like?” and there was quite a prize to be given out.

When the contest first started, no one seemed to mind receiving a free Chick-Fil-A gift card on the second Tuesday of July. However, over the months that have passed, there have been more complaints filed against Chick-Fil-A because they have failed to make a valid offer on the free food items for the second Tuesday of every July. As a result, many people have become suspicious as to why the company will not give them free food anymore. After all, they promised to do it and they have the proof right there in the video that they released to the public.

While there are a lot of people complaining about Chick-Fil-A not doing enough to help those in need during Cow Appreciation Day or trying to make up for their shoddy business practices, the reality is that cows produce milk. That means that each and every cow on an organic dairy farm produces two pounds of milk every single day. That means that each cow on a commercial dairy farm can supply the needs of millions of people each and every day! It also means that there are enough dairy cows in the world to satisfy everyone’s need for milk.

The only place this could happen is if there were no cow farms. Unfortunately, this is exactly what America is missing because they do not seem to understand that it is their responsibility to care for cows and that if they do not do it properly, they are neglecting their responsibility to those that are dependent upon them for milk.

Chick-Fil-A can still offer its coupons and get people talking about the fact that it gives wonderful tasting food for a fair price. It can do this while simultaneously working towards reducing child malnutrition. It is unfortunate that we have to focus on the negative in order to focus on something positive. Those who disagree with this sentiment should remember that they are only focusing on one aspect of something and that is how to have a successful Chick-Fil-A through July 2nd. One thing is for certain, those in need will still be having a chance to enjoy the awesome tastes of one of the most popular chicken-fried quarter sticks.
